HR+ professional trainingOur HR advisory services are designed principally for SMEs and other organisations that do not have a HR practitioner or insufficient HR support and who are failing to achieve productivity gains, or hesitant to tackle issues or who recognise that they may be floundering outside the law and jeopardising the business and the employees. Our services fall mainly into the following areas:



  1. FULL HR SERVICE: This will provide you with a dedicated HR Practitioner to work with your management team and staff to ensure compliance to all employment law issues and help build an environment where productivity and performance emulate best practice and provide a competitive advantage.


  2. TELEPHONE HELPLINE: This provides timely advice over the telephone (although occasional site meetings may occur) to any HR query so that the manager or employee can obtain peace of mind or help to make a key decision. A monthly retainer will provide this service and give your business a dedicated HR professional to help you and your team.


  3. AUDIT and REVIEW: This service will audit all of your HR systems, documents, policies and procedures and assess your key performance through people measures and provide you with an understanding of how safe and effective your systems are and provide you with recommendations as to how you could achieve improved performance from making change.


  4. PROJECTS: If you have a problem you want solved speedily such as mediation to a dispute; help with a difficult dismissal or grievance; launching a programme to reduce absenteeism; developing and launching a structural or cultural change programme: we can provide an expert or even a team of experts to help you solve your problem.


  5. REFERENCES: Selecting the right person for the role can be a complex and costly exercise, especially if the appointment is unsuccessful. To minimise this risk and to help support the recruitment decisions that you plan to make, HR+ Limited can provide a reference service regarding your new employees.
  6. The referencing service will include:


    • Employment References - we will obtain validated references covering the previous five years


    • Pre-Employment Medical Questionnaire - a full medical questionnaire will be forwarded to your new employees, we will collect and analyse the information received and make recommendations where appropriate


    • Criminal Records Bureau Checks - can be carried out for relevant roles, e.g. roles in the financial sector or roles dealing with children and other vulnerable members of society


    • Credit Checks - we will provide a credit check covering the last five years.


    All results will be presented to you promptly within specified timescales and prepared in a full report. A summary sheet will also be provided explaining how to correctly handle the information provided and describing what the information means for your organisation. We can also provide guidance and support on any issues that may emerge from the references collected.



  7. SALARY SURVEYS: In our current climate of low unemployment and economic uncertainty it is more important than ever to ensure that the salaries that you pay your employees are both competitive and attractive.

    We can benchmark the specific salaries that you offer against your industry norm and within your geographical area. We will also provide you with a relevant market overview and a summary on the latest benefits trends within your sector.



  8. PROFESSIONAL HR COVER: We believe that experienced and reliable interim HR professionals are in short supply in the South East. If your HR Manager is taking extended leave from your company, for example for Maternity Leave, we can provide consistent and high quality cover whilst they are away from the business.



  9. MEDIATION: On occasion, disputes with or amongst your workforce can become problematic and in such circumstances engaging an external consultant to mediate and help to resolve the dispute can prove extremely beneficial. HR+ Limited have significant experience in mediation and proven track records in mediating complex disputes. Not only will we ensure that your Company complies with the changing legislation in this area, but we can also bring to the table our negotiation skills and our objectivity.
