Has forty years Human Resources experience and is a specialist in Employment Law, Industrial Relations, Training and Health & Safety. He has worked in steel, engineering, vehicles, plastics, glass, education and business services.
Hugh has spent many years promoting national vocational qualifications and apprenticeships and was recognised nationally for his achievements.
In the past he has held influential roles including Chairman of the Kent Employer Network (forerunner to the Kent TEC); he was a member of the CBIs National Training Advisory Committee; and he was Vice Chairman of the Steel Industry National Training organisation.
Hugh led a previous company to the Investor in People Award, the first company in the UK to achieve that award.
Has over 10 years generalist HR experience and has worked in telecommunications, retail, finance and media. Joy has a significant breadth and depth of HR knowledge and has a strong record of delivering successful training in a number of companies.
Joy is particularly experienced in managing challenging disciplinary, grievance and appeal hearings and providing guidance and support to her clients in all areas of employment law. Joy has worked closely with trade unions in the past and has also represented her organisation at Employment Tribunal Hearings.
She is fully professionally qualified and is also licenced to administer the Thomas International and Saville & Holdsworth psychometric testing.
Recently Joy won the ‘Unsung Hero’ award in the Norfolk Recruitment Awards.
Emma has experience in the leisure, financial and transportation sectors. She has over seven years experience in HR and Training and is studying towards her Graduate CIPD qualification.
Emma has worked extensively in the areas of recruitment and selection, performance management, employee relations and providing guidance on current employment legislation.
Emma has been involved in helping her previous employer to achieve the Investors In People Standard
Veronica is fully professionally qualified and has worked as a generalist HR Professional for over 15 years. She has significant experience with London Underground; heading up an employee relations team and Kent Police; as a Quality Assurance Co-ordinator for their operational assessment centres.
Throughout her career, Veronica has worked on a number of commercial projects which required her to work on-site to fully understand the business requirements and deliver to set operational targets. For the last year Veronica has been working as a HR Consultant predominately with SME’s. She has been involved in a variety of projects; one of which was supporting a HR+ key client to successfully retain Investors in People standard.
With over ten years’ experience, Victoria possesses a broad and solid HR knowledge base. Her commercial awareness has supported organisations in ensuring that their HR function adds value to the development of the business. Her experience as a Regional Account Executive and Project Manager before moving into HR has enabled Victoria to understand operational issues that businesses often encounter.
Victoria is highly experienced in heading up HR and change management projects, most recently working on an acquisition project which included the redesign and implementation a clients UK policies and procedures. Not only has this demonstrated her in-depth knowledge of employment law but also her ability to negotiate with trade unions.
Victoria is used to working in fast paced and complex organisations, working to tight deadlines. Her previous employment history includes Coca-Cola and Pfizer.
Victoria has a particular interest in HR Business Partnering and she is currently studying for a Master of Arts in HRM Business Partnership and Graduate CIPD.
Claire started her career as an HR Assistant in the public sector, where she gained considerable knowledge in managing complex project work and producing detailed reports. Claire enhanced her HR knowledge by studying and achieving the CIPD Certificate in Personnel Practice, and enhanced her IT skills by achieving a Certificate in IT and Computing.
With over two year’s experience working within HR, Claire decided to develop her career into a different sector and joined HR+ Limited as an HR Coordinator. After another two year’s HR experience and furthering her CIPD studies, Claire was promoted to the position of HR Consultant.
Louise is a highly skilled HR professional with 16 years’ experience. A chartered member of the CIPD and a member of the British Psychological Society, Louise spent the early part of her career in generalist HR roles in food manufacturing and retail.
She further enhanced her skills working as a consultant for two other HR and management consultancy firms and has worked on a wide range of client projects including recruitment and selection, pay, benefits and reward, policies and procedures, management of disciplinary, grievances and redundancy situations and learning and development.
Louise has experience in assisting organisations to develop and manage change. She has a particular interest and enthusiasm for designing and delivering training for all levels of staff and working with line managers to develop talent.
Karen has worked within the Pharmaceutical, Advertising & Marketing and Financial Services sectors and has nearly 8 years of Administration experience. Beginning her career, Karen worked towards her Advanced Modern Apprenticeship in Business Administration (NVQ Level 3) and was formally a PA/Office Manager in the Financial Services sector.
Karen is extremely dedicated, constantly striving for perfection.
