Has forty years Human Resources experience and is a specialist in Employment Law, Industrial Relations, Training and Health & Safety. He has worked in steel, engineering, vehicles, plastics, glass, education and business services.

Hugh has spent many years promoting national vocational qualifications and apprenticeships and was recognised nationally for his achievements.

In the past he has held influential roles including Chairman of the Kent Employer Network (forerunner to the Kent TEC); he was a member of the CBIs National Training Advisory Committee; and he was Vice Chairman of the Steel Industry National Training organisation.

Hugh led a previous company to the Investor in People Award, the first company in the UK to achieve that award.

Has over 10 years generalist HR experience and has worked in telecommunications, retail, finance and media. Joy has a significant breadth and depth of HR knowledge and has a strong record of delivering successful training in a number of companies.

Joy is particularly experienced in managing challenging disciplinary, grievance and appeal hearings and providing guidance and support to her clients in all areas of employment law. Joy has worked closely with trade unions in the past and has also represented her organisation at Employment Tribunal Hearings.

She is fully professionally qualified and is also licenced to administer the Thomas International and Saville & Holdsworth psychometric testing.

Recently Joy won the ‘Unsung Hero’ award in the Norfolk Recruitment Awards.

With over ten years’ experience, Victoria possesses a broad and solid HR knowledge base. Her commercial awareness has supported organisations in ensuring that their HR function adds value to the development of the business. Her experience as a Regional Account Executive and Project Manager before moving into HR has enabled Victoria to understand operational issues that businesses often encounter.

Victoria is highly experienced in heading up HR and change management projects, most recently working on an acquisition project which included the redesign and implementation a clients UK policies and procedures. Not only has this demonstrated her in-depth knowledge of employment law but also her ability to negotiate with trade unions.

Victoria is used to working in fast paced and complex organisations, working to tight deadlines. Her previous employment history includes Coca-Cola and Pfizer.

Victoria has a particular interest in HR Business Partnering and she is currently studying for a Master of Arts in HRM Business Partnership and Graduate CIPD.

Angela has over 11 years generalist HR experience gained in the retail and education industry. Angela worked for a number of blue chip retailers, a secondary school developing relationships with the local businesses and organisations to promote their Business & Enterprise status and a County Council managing their recruitment team.

She supported the retail companies with large scale recruitment for new store openings, and the restructuring of store roles across a number of branches. Angela has managed a range of HR projects, including redesigning and delivering company induction programmes, and managing an implementation team to deliver change programmes involving systems implementation and training across 26 branches

Angela was also involved in developing and continually streamlining the recruitment process and systems within public sector organisations striving to ensure a cost effective standard of service delivery. Angela has also been involved in the achievements of the Investors in People standard

Helen has over 15 years generalist HR experience gained in the retail, finance and travel industries. She has supported companies through large scale restructuring and redundancy programs, assisting with the organisation design, consultation and selection processes.

Helen has managed a range of HR projects, including changes to terms and conditions of employment, the introduction of a job evaluation and grading process, as well as producing and updating employment policies on a wide variety of subjects.

Helen has a wealth of experience successfully managing complex disciplinary and grievance cases, resolving absence issues and designing recruitment campaigns.

Throughout her career Helen has ensured a strong commercial focus, the ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships at every level of the business and a flexible approach to ensure the needs of the business are met.



HR+ Kim Meadows

Kim has extensive experience as a Senior Manager within the Hotel & Leisure Industry with a career spanning over 20 years. She specialised in HR towards the latter years and further consolidated this by gaining HR experience in the rail and construction industry.

Through her hotel managerial role Kim gained valuable commercial awareness skills as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels, she helped lead one team towards success in the Kent Business Award Customer Service Category and helped the same team achieve the IIP accreditation.

As well as being an Assessor / Verifier within the leisure industry, Kim was responsible for the training and development of all middle managers and after successfully undertaking the IPD facilitation skills workshop was responsible for delivering many corporate training programs.

Kim has been responsible for implementing employee recognition schemes in conjunction with the evaluation of employee reward packages and introducing projects such as performance and absence management programs, as well as undertaking more complex redundancy and restructuring initiatives.

Letty has worked within SME and multi national companies gaining over 5 years of HR experience in a diverse range of business sectors including; warehouse, storage, logistics and retail sector. Letty has achieved her Certificate in Personnel Practice, has the Assoc CIPD accreditation and is currently studying toward her graduate CIPD qualification.

Letty has specialised in areas of employee relations, performance management, disciplinary and grievance, change management and redundancy situations and has successfully managed the complex issues arising from the closure of a multi national company.

A key achievement for Letty was the introduction and implementation of an up skilling initiative in her previous position which resulted in a recognised national qualification for 40% of the workforce; this helped improve employee performance and morale which contributed to the company achieving its yearly forecasted profit.

Veronica is fully professionally qualified and has worked as a generalist HR Professional for over 15 years. She has significant experience with London Underground; heading up an employee relations team and Kent Police; as a Quality Assurance Co-ordinator for their operational assessment centres.

Throughout her career, Veronica has worked on a number of commercial projects which required her to work on-site to fully understand the business requirements and deliver to set operational targets. For the last year Veronica has been working as a HR Consultant predominately with SME’s. She has been involved in a variety of projects; one of which was supporting a HR+ key client to successfully retain Investors in People standard.

Karen has worked within the Pharmaceutical, Advertising & Marketing and Financial Services sectors and has nearly 8 years of Administration experience. Beginning her career, Karen worked towards her Advanced Modern Apprenticeship in Business Administration (NVQ Level 3) and was formally a PA/Office Manager in the Financial Services sector.

Karen is extremely dedicated, constantly striving for perfection.
